Principal

Jayme Duckett became the principal of Godley 6th Grade Campus in 2024.

Having come to Godley in 2020, Duckett previously was the assistant principal at Legacy Elementary School and the Godley 5th & 6th Grade Campus. 

She began her career in 2003 as a second grade teacher in Waco, where she later taught fourth grade and served as a science curriculum specialist.  Beginning in 2007, she taught third grade in Granbury ISD for eight years before working as an instructional coach at both elementary and secondary levels.

Duckett earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Baylor University.  She earned her principal certification from Tarleton State University, where she is also pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership.
